Every year the PBPA facilitates various industry surveys to provide relevant data collection and analysis opportunities for our members.

The surveys conducted use updated and relevant data from Permian Basin companies, allowing members to see how they compare to their peers in the region and are generally conducted in the Spring-Summer of each year.

Surveys:

• Health, Safety, & Environment Benchmarking Survey: The HSE Benchmarking Survey is completely free for PBPA members to participate in and allows members to compare safety incident, spill performance, and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) statistics to blinded data obtained from peer-companies.
• Permian Basin Oil & Gas Compensation Survey: The Compensation Survey is facilitated by The Whitney Smith Company and sponsored by the PBPA. Participating in the survey allows organizations to analyze pay levels against current market practices. The survey provides comprehensive data for budgeting, setting, and administering competitive pay levels and updating compensation structures.'
